Dennis Colgan: Founding Member
Dennis Colgan is a registered representative for Direct Capital Securities, Inc and holds a Series 7 license as well as a Series 66. He is a licensed Arizona realtor and has received the Certified Commercial Sales Specialist (CCSS) designation. He is currently a candidate for the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. Denny has spent his career in real estate, securities and insurance. He has been a real estate franchise owner with over 100 agents associated with his firm. He also owned and managed an independent insurance agency. Denny graduated from Creighton University in 1969 with an A.B. in Journalism. He quickly transitioned to business upon joining the original Dean Witter Company in the early 1970’s. Real estate and financial services have remained his passions.

David L. Jenkins (DJ): Founding Member
DJ has over 25 years of business management and sales & marketing experience. His industry experience includes banking, investment management, international trade, software and technology consulting, and real estate investing and brokerage. He has worked in various capacities at companies like Salomon Brothers International - London- AVP Corporate Finance, BankBoston - Vice President, Asset Management Partners - Director of Sales & Marketing of Investment Management Services and Spectrus Real Estate Group - Sales Executive, AZ.
DJ received his BA from New England College with a dual major in Economics and Business Administration in 1981. He graduated from Stonier Graduate School of Banking, University of Delaware in 1985. DJ received his Arizona Real Estate license in 2004 and is presently preparing to take the Series 63 and Series 22 securities license tests.

Doug Blackwell: Founding Member
Doug Blackwell is a specialist in 1031 Exchange structure and accommodation. Having personally been responsible for completion of close to 1000 exchanges and advised on so many more he has established himself as an extremely valuable and trusted resource with regard to this powerful estate planning and tax saving tool. Additionally he has over Seventeen years of professional investment management experience in financial services, financial planning, real estate, and mortgage brokerage. Doug is a Registered Investment Advisor and has maintained in the past the Series 7, 24, 63, 65, and 55 securities licenses (presently renewing his 63 & getting his 22). Doug is a sought after public speaker and has presented professional seminars to over 7,000 Arizona investors, Attorneys, CPA’s, investment advisors and real estate professionals over the past several years. Doug is also a frequent guest on Arizona radio programs including acting Co-Host to the ever popular KFNN 1510 AM daily talk show “Talk Real Estate” exposing the benefits of 1031 Exchange, as well as many other programs designed to "create and preserve great wealth."
Doug has worked with a number of many well known companies in the financial services industry such as StratEX1031, North American Exchange Company, Prudential Securities, First Interstate Bank, Merrill Lynch, and All-Tech Direct. Doug also possesses an inside working knowledge of mortgage lending having performed the duties of a Senior Loan Officer for Great Southwest Mortgage. Doug served honorably in the United States Navy on board the USS Albert David (FF-1050) and the USS Constellation (CV-64). Doug resides in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife Linda of eighteen years and two children, Brittney and Bryson.

Sam Lewin: CCIM –Founding Member (CFO & Financial Analyst)
With more than 35 years of business and commercial real estate experience, Sam is responsible for the structure and due diligence of all our offerings. Having been awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation by the CCIM institute, Sam has the qualifications to analyze the commercial real estate assets we introduce to our clients. The CCIM designation is awarded to commercial Real Estate Professionals upon completing of a graduate-level curriculum and attainment of a level of qualifying experience. The Chicago-based CCIM Institute is an affiliate of National Association of Realtors and is the governing body of the largest commercial real estate network in the world. Sam does not presently have his securities license.
